MagBay Fishing Report
When the water conditions were good the wahoos were stacked. Whether you were spearfishing or rod and reel limits of Wahoo were plentiful with quadruple hookups very common. When the water conditions changed we would fish further south for Marlin and tuna. The tuna ran a bit on the smaller size this year but were plentiful. Chasing them under schools of porpoise or chunking on the seamounts we got our share. We did manage to both spear and catch a few in the legit #250 lb range. The striped Marlin are chasing down the bait balls this time of year. This is quite a site as you will see large groups of Frigate birds come out of nowhere giving you an exact location of hundreds of Marlin going nuts feeding on large schools of bait. The Dorado are just everywhere.

Thanksgiving Fishing Report
This is the time of year when we get a wide variety of fish. The rocky spots off Espíritu Santos island has been good for Cabrilla and Pargitos trigger fish Snook. There’s still some Dorado and Marlin in the area but the bite is not consistent and with the wind coming up the ride home can get pretty bumpy.

November 13th Fishing Report
Currently there’s a good bite on both Striped and Blue Marlin and quality 30-40 lb Dorado offshore.
There are tons of small schoolies size Dorado in the bay, hanging out around the tankers.
The Mag Bay trips are in full swing. Everything from Striped Marlin, Wahoo Tuna to Broomtail and Gulf grouper. The bite out there is just starting to heat up.

October 16th! Fishing Report
Striped Marlin and Sailfish are still pretty stacked up a little further off shore and around the seamounts.
The tuna have been making a showing with some real legit fish, unfortunately the bite is not consistent. If your fortunate to find them, they are running 50-60lb range.
Inshore around the rocky point small Pargo are always hungry and looking for a meal.

October 9th! Fishing Report
Overall fishing has been good. Not much has changed over the past couple of weeks, with Dorado still plentiful with schools of mixed size. The biggest difference being the fish have put on a few pounds, with the Bulls pushing the 30lb mark.
Offshore around the El Charro seamount, Striped Marlin and Sailfish are stacked up. 3-5 fish per boat is pretty average.
