October 9th! Fishing Report

Overall fishing has been good. Not much has changed over the past couple of weeks, with Dorado still plentiful with schools of mixed size. The biggest difference being the fish have put on a few pounds, with the Bulls pushing the 30lb mark.
Offshore around the El Charro seamount, Striped Marlin and Sailfish are stacked up. 3-5 fish per boat is pretty average.

September 21st! Fishing Report

Dorado are the main species and spread out through the La Paz boundaries. inshore fishing for Pargitos, trigger fish and Cabrilla is still solid when the currents are not too strong.  Offshore the bite for, Striped Marlin and Sailfish is pretty consistent trolling small to medium size lures or ballyhoos

August 21st! Fishing Report

The Dorado are still the main event with the largest concentration in the San Juan area around the buoys. Most days limiting out early is not a problem. it’s been a bit of a scratch for most pelagic species. There has been some limited activity around Punta Norte for Wahoo. Nothing crazy.

August 14th! Fishing Report

The Dorado once again seem to be the most cooperative. A little further out on the seamounts big Cubera snapper are on the chew. Further offshore the stripe Marlin are on track. They seem to be hanging in small pods of 3-5 fish so doubling up is not uncommon. Most of the Marlin are released to fight another day.I hate to say the tuna have been a disappointment so far this year. There’s been some reports of Wahoo on the south end of Cerralvo.
