Magdalena is a 50 Km long Bay protected from the Pacific Ocean by the sandy dunes of Magdalena and Santa Margarita Islands. This bay is home to a large mass of fish and birds that take shelter in the mangroves, and most importantly, the annual migration of Gray Whales coming to nurture their calves.
There are two main ports in Mag Bay, which are Puerto San Carlos and López Mateos. Not only do they offer great scenery, fishing, and marine mammal encounters, the folks here are welcoming and will gladly prepare their special family recipes that will make for an unforgettable meal.
We offer multi-day trips either by land, water, and air so you can explore the territory, contemplate amazing landscapes and catch the fish of a life time.
Magbay, located in the middle of the Baja peninsula on the Pacific side. Home to one of the most prolific fishing grounds in the world. Also serves as a nursery for the Gray Whales and their calves.
